The network association Health Region CologneBonn brings together over 130 players from the healthcare industry — from companies and institutions to associations and chambers to cities and districts. Together, we are shaping the future of an innovative, cross-sector healthcare industry in the region.
About Us
Working Together
We are a health economy region which comprises ten local authorities, eight of which are located in North Rhine-Westphalia and two in Rhineland-Palatinate (Altenkirchen, Bonn, Cologne, Leverkusen, Neuwied, Oberbergischer Kreis, Rhein-Erft-Kreis, Rheinisch Bergischer Kreis, Rhein-Kreis Neuss, and Rhein-Sieg-Kreis).
We are committed to promoting and networking science, research, business, healthcare, and other areas in the medicine and health cluster in the Cologne-Bonn region. Our particular goal is to help develop and expand the Cologne-Bonn region into a nationally and internationally renowned and recognized healthcare location.

100% Subsidiary
As a subsidiary of the association, HRCB Projekt GmbH implements initiatives, projects, and innovations to further develop and strengthen the healthcare industry and healthcare system.
Non-Profit Cooperation Partner
In close cooperation with Health Region CologneBonn and HRCB Projekt GmbH, the gewi – Institut für Gesundheitswirtschaft association supports scientific projects and assignments.
This now well-established “three-pillar structure” enables Health Region CologneBonn to initiate process innovations for the region, offer innovative specialist events, and successfully implement project activities.
